NSW Sabre State Titles – 10,11 March 2018.

SSANSW will run the Sabre State Title series in conjunction with Wallagoot Lake Boat Club’s (WLBC) annual two day regatta on 10,11 March.

The NOR for the regatta is here and regatta entry is here; fee is $60. In addition, entrants will also need to enter the state title series with the SSANSW here; fee is $20. Entrants will also need to be a current Sabre Association member. The membership form for the SSANSW is here.

Wallagoot Lake is a saltwater lake with an inlet at the ocean front, currently closed.

WLBC is situated on Wallagoot Lake Road, on the eastern side of Saphire Coast Drive which runs between Tathra and Merimbula. The club is in Bournda National Park and entry fees to the park apply to park at the club. National Park entry fees information is available on the WLBC website and the abovementioned NOR.

Camping is available near the club, however there is no other accommodation on site. Ample accommodation is available in Tathra, Merimbula or Bega.

The SSANSW is asking as many Sabre sailors as possible to attend the series; WLBC have nine Sabres at the club. Sabres from Sydney and Canberra will be attending and your support for the series will be appreciated. It promises to be good sailing and fun.

Hope to see you at Wallagoot Lake,

Peter Whitton
