The 2018 Sabre Sailing Association Western Australia “Opening Days Series” will be held on various dates (with five heats and the best of four heats to count). The races will be conducted by East Fremantle Yacht Club (EFYC), Safety Bay Sailing Club (SBYC), Maylands Yacht Club (MYC), Royal Perth Yacht Club (RPYC) & Perth Dinghy Sailing Club (PDSC) on their Opening Days. The purpose of the regatta is to help promote the Sabre class at Yacht Club Opening Days and encourage participation in the Metro Club Opening Day races.

The organising authority for this series is the Sabre Sailing Association of Western Australia Inc, however each Club will provide its own Sailing Instructions for the race which it will control.

It should be noted that Clubs will set their own club courses on the day. Entrants will need to ensure that they familiarize themselves with courses before starting.
