A cloudy day with a cold and blustery south easter faced a few hardy Sabre sailors plus 3 Lasers and 3 Mirrors for the final Winter Races at Maylands on Sunday 11th September. However, the wind settled down to a steady 10 to 15 knots by race start time and close racing followed. Over the line results went to the Lasers with a Sabre second in both races.
The Sabre placings were also the same for both races:
1. C3 – Chris Holyday
2. Blue Chip – Dave Quinn
3. Estoile – Bruce Lee
