Sabres filled the first three places on corrected time in a fleet of 25 boats from Weta’s to Optimists, with plenty of Laser Radials and Pacers making up the fleet.

The wind varied from four to 20 knots in gusts giving all competitors a range of condition to test their sailing skills.

The HoR is a race starting near Chambers Island in the Maroochy river, east to Goat Island then west towards the David Low Bridge at BliBli.The time taken by the leading boats was just under 2.5 hours. After numerous lead changes, Nicholas Taylor pipped John Ladewig by 5 seconds on corrected time followed closely by Ilan Scofield.
