    Q. What is the definition of winter?
    A. In Brisbane it means ‘wearing a cardigan’!

OK – it does get a nip in the air occasionally, but that did not deter Anne Mussett and Sue Hextell from launching their boats at Cleveland Yacht Club last weekend and sailing TWo races in what started as a medium SW, that became a nothingish S direction puff.

Two 125s also raced in the dinghy Division and provided for some close racing!

Phil Briggs was at the club helping organise a trailer for Anne to use. Phil is off the water at present after some recent surgery on his hand.

The next ‘winter’ race at Cleveland is on 29 June.
    One race is scheduled.

Get down early for some extra on water sailing practice. It will be follow-the leader around a couple of marks located close to each other.

    Sue
