    Hi all,
I race against pacers all the time at regattas and i beat them around the bouys but they beat me on handiecap because they don’t sail with a kite, so it’s about the same.

    Hi all,
I’m to light for a sabre i’m 50kg, from what i’ve heard & seen that the weight for a sabre should be from 60 to 80kg to still be there.
But one problem as i have said i’m 50kg & i race against people that are over 80kg, i can beat them around the bouys in a blow.

    How can that be?

    Hi all,
Have the sabre got that quick, or are all the other boats going slower. 😆

    hi all,
The learners video sounds like a great idea, i have had a lot of juniours from Gippsland lakes yacht club training school asking me question on how to set up there boats better, but i can’t help because it’s out of my league.

I’ve been sailing the sabre for 3 years now, i’m still having trouble setting up my boat & i think this would be a great idea, to give to all clubs that have sabres sailing. Becuse would help me out a lot with the school.

    hi all,
this sounds like a great idea :D who came up with it.
At Paynesville we have 2 boats sailing two handed, i’ve been talking to the kids about it & they say it is the only way they would get out on the water racing.

Both boats are a part of our sailing school, we have tryed to get other kids from the school to come & race with us. But this is only way we can get the kids out racing. They did very well to, the frist boat came 5 overall & the sceond boat came 10 overall out 17 for the season.

It helps being two handed where i sail because we get strong winds most weekends.

    Hi phillip,
Great to here your coming my (‘:D‘), yeah it’s a great regatta.
I’ve been going for 5 years now, it’s like a 2nd home for me & i wouldn’t miss it for the world.

So come all sabre’s around victoria it’s a great regatta, we had 4 sabres there last year & we only need 5 boats for our own division.
so come on & have some fun, i can’t say it is the best sailing i have done but i like beating the faster boats around the bouys.
